8. I'm sad that Grizzly Man wasn't up for best documentary. If I had video editing skills, it would be so easy to make a mashup between Brokeback Mountain and Grizzly Man. Two young cowboys head up into the Alaskan wilderness to commune with the bears--and each other! They return summer after summer and rekindle their passion, until one fateful year they're eaten, and Werner Herzog goes back and interviews their wives. Bearback Mountain, coming to a blog near you when somebody with actual talent gets this idea.
