The return of occassional answers and random guesses and the spare "s" or two

Wherein haven't verified any of these

  1. Hamburg?
  2. Moby (guessing based on Melville)
  3. One of the ones starting with a K?
  4. (a) Gesundheit (b) who?
  5. Yellow or orange. I pick yellow.
  6. UFOs.
  7. Canceled and then picked up again? TV shows that started as movies? I know the last two started out as movies and since I have nothing else, I'll go with that.

1. The phrase "Dresden Jar" comes to mind, and I have know idea why, wasn't it referred to in the Baroque Cycle?

2. No need to guess, he mentioned the Melville connnection in many interviews (his mom's side of the family, full of depressive, tiny, presumptively gay men, just like Moby and Melville)

3. I think it's Belarus instead of Kazakhstan or Krgyzstan. Belarus has always been the most "Russian" and nostalgiac for the Soviet Union of the former Socialist Republics.

4. Khachaturian's most famous composition is the Sabre Dance, so that would lead one (or at least me) to guess the Buffalo Sabres.

5. You left out brown, but seems like there's more orange than anything, never really paid attention though.

6. I remember the short-lived TV series by the same name (on NBC, I think). Funny how the digital age with ubiquitous recording technologies and communication has lead to the virtual disappearance of UFO sightings. Those aliens have improved their hiding techniques to match our improved tech. Yet they still come here just to diddle hicks in the sticks (with their alien . . . ., probes).

7. I've got nothing.

D'oh! I should have recognized that one.

Now I have to go listen to Bill Hicks talking about UFOs and hicks.
