It sounded like an ironic joke at first, but on further reading maple ice cream with bacon, cinnamon and brown sugar on waffles would be freaking awesome.
Mmmmmmm. Sacrilicious!
Well, for dinner we'll occasionally make sausage waffles with Jimmy Dean maple flavored sausage. Cook it, let it cool some, then stir into the batter. Be sure to serve with lots of butter and extra maple syrup, because you don't want to be half-assed about this kind of thing.
