Glad to see you include "Sorcerer," Bill... an unjustly neglected film. Truly the kind they don't make anymore.
Here's the thing. I've seen the film exactly one time -- in the theater during its first run. Still, the tenseness and the drama stays with me, as do images of many of the scenes. I see there's a DVD out that I may get just to see how the movie is some 30 years later.
I'd also say Scheider was also one of the best pieces of "Marathon Man." The guy just had a silky way of acting that didn't draw attention to him.
